7 august 2019 - Opole, Ozimska St. At Sunday the 4th of August a huge water pipe broke down at Rejtana St. Since then lines 3, 11 and 16 have gone on detour via Wschodnia, Głogowska and Ozimska St. Whats interesting on the official site of MZK there is no indication of this inconvenience.

19 august 2019 - Opole, Czarnowąsy bypass. This service starts as line 10 at Drobiarska St. and goes to Opole Power Plant. It never justifies anything bigger then MIDI bus though. From there it positions - as seen here - nearly 12 kilometers to main railway station and goes again as 10 to Witosa. And then it switches to line 15 for the rest of a day. All in all this is quite ridiculous service by articulated bus but allows for interesting photo at road usually not used by MZK.

9 november 2022 - Opole, Staszica Sq. The building in the background seats Institute of Psychology of the University of Opole. It was build in 1930 as Hindenburg Realgymnasium (i.e. middle school, or high school for our american guests) in then german Oppeln.

1 june 2023 - Opole, ul. Ozimska. Miłość gotowa jest do różnych poświęceń. Z racji tego, że nieco ponad miesiąc wcześniej kupiłam samochód, podjęłam decyzję o wyruszeniu w wakacje życia i odwiedzeniu mojego `ukochanego` -> klik. Tym oto sposobem zrodził się pomysł na wycieczkę do Jasła, niekoniecznie najkrótszą drogą. 😉 Dzięki temu, zupełnym przypadkiem, tego dnia trafiłam do wsi o nazwach: Dobrodzień/Guttentag oraz Miłość, a także odkryłam, gdzie stoi BMW-Glas Goggiomobile Coupe z 1967 r. Zapraszam Was na relację z 13-dniowej (a, jakże!) wyprawy przez pół Polski. 🙂

16 june 2018 - Opole, Ozimska Street. Due to works on expansion of Solaris Center Copernicus Square is closed for all traffic. Bus lines 3, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 21, N1, N2, N5, N13 and N15 have to take rather lengthy detour via Kośnego, Katowicka and Ozimska Streets. Together with lines that go via Ozimska regularly (i.e. 10, 14, 15, 25) they form an impressive batch of 24 buses one way in rush hour. All that despite summer timetable! Detour should end in the last week of August.

16 october 2021 - Opole, Działkowa St. MZK`s depot. Busses delivered after 2018 are equipped with hatches at the rear and front end. They allow an easy access to air and power connectors. Busses are plugged in overnight and when started up need less idle time, hence saving fuel.

Obie ulice tylko z nazwy. W ogóle to cała okolica nadaje się do wpisania na listę polskiego dziedzictwa 100 lat planowania przestrzeni publicznej, bo jest tutaj wszystko: bezpłciowa zabudowa, droga szutrowa, znaki ostrzegające przed bawiącymi się na ulicy dziećmi... Komunikacja miejska tutaj jednak dotarła. Widoczny kurs zabrał trzy osoby, po czym musiał pokonać ten dość trudny profil, żeby ruszyć ku względnej normalności.

Tutaj kiedyś były wysokie latarnie i po modernizacji oświetlenia wysokie pozostały, stąd nienajlepszy kadr. Jednak należało uwiecznić jak nówka omija nówkę ;)

In the picture an typical example: after crossing Solidarity Av. bikeway has no continuation whatsoever. In fact in parts of the west side of Witosa Av. there is no sidewalk at all!

12 august 2018 - Opole, ul. Kośnego → Katowicka.
W końcu doczekaliśmy czasów, kiedy to w weekendy po Opolu jeżdżą przeguby, ale... Jest to sytuacja tymczasowa, gdyż przewoźnik zobowiązał się do obsługi liniowej wakacyjnego rozkładu jazdy wyłącznie pojazdami klimatyzowanymi. Także gdy przyjdzie wrzesień, znów na mieście będą jeździły wozy maksymalnie piętnastometrowe.

Na zdjęciu widzimy również pewien osobliwy objazd, gdyż ze względu na zamknięcie ulicy Korfantego (z powodu powiększania szpitala MSWiA) linie 5, 9, 13, 15 oraz 25 zostały skierowane na inną trasę, przez Rondo i Plac Kopernika. Dodam do tego opisu jeszcze jedno ale, ponieważ przejazd przez Plac Kopernika również jest niemożliwy (z powodu powiększania Galerii Handlowej Solaris) więc wspomniane linie wysłano ulicami Kośnego, Katowicką i Ozimską — co jest wydarzeniem wyjątkowym.

Przegub wyjeżdża z tymczasowej ulicy Zbożowej, która dzisiaj jest już jej obowiązującym śladem. Wcześniej ta ulica biegła w miejscu obecnej nowej obwodnicy (w głębi zdjęcia, tam gdzie widać maszyny budowlane).

1 november 2018 - Opole, Wrocławska St. Between Nysy Łużyckiej St. and Partyzancka St. there is no scheduled MZK traffic. It`s very confusing because this is the shortest route from nearly all of Opole to Karolinka mall and big industrial area. Line 0 is a small exception but it runs only in vicinity of All Saints Day.
