31 may 2006 - Latvia, Daugavpils - depot Jatnieku iela: New KTM-71 trams were obtained from Russia in 1991 and a large batch of Tatra T3 trams also came here secondhand from Schwerin in Germany, although the older Riga-built cars carried on for many more years. Here is KTM car #107 standing in the depot yard between duties. These are fairly basic trams with little refinement, but they seem quite reliable.
